On October 29, 2021, an exhibition presentation on the results of the regional art project "Plein Air - 2021" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Kostanay region was held in the exhibition hall of the Department of Fine Arts of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore.

The exhibition presents more than 50 works by Kostanay artists participating in the "Plein Air–2021" project. As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 85th anniversary of Kostanay region, from July 26 to July 30, 2021, Kostanay artists went to the open-air in Uzunkol district. The purpose of the trip was to paint sketchy landscapes. The participants of this planned event were: members of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, painters Vadim Bykov, Alexander Zakharchenkov, Svetlana Medvedeva, artists Dmitry Shalunov, Anatoly Shchastyantsev, Oleg Kuskov, Larisa Bagrienko, Elena Nikolenko and young authors Oksana Trenina and Alina Nikolenko.

The exhibition presents sketches, sketches and landscape compositions of protected and beautiful natural landscapes of the Uzunkol district - the land of white birches and unique lakes. "Bright Meadow", "Sunny Day", "Reserved Lake", "Uzunkol at sunset", "St. Nicholas Church of Presnogorkovka village", "The Road to Uzunkol" - these are just a small list of works that will tell the viewer about the fascinating work that gives a special feeling and the opportunity to observe the life of the surrounding nature.
