The exhibition of works by students of the art school named after A.I.Nikiforov "Children draw the World" is timed to the Year of Children, announced in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is dedicated to the theme of displaying a diverse and surprisingly colorful surrounding world seen through the eyes of a child.

Holding an exhibition of students of the art school named after A.I. Nikiforov in the hall of Fine Arts is a long and good tradition. Every year, since 2008, the art school presents the creative works of its students to the Kostanay audience and guests of the city and region. This year, for the first time, the organizers of the exhibition decided to cover a wide age range of participants – from 9 to 16 years, as this year is special - the President of the country declared 2022 the Year of Children. The Head of State noted that special attention should be paid to children: their well–being is a reliable guarantee of a successful future of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition "Children draw the World" presents more than 100 works of students not only graduating, but also junior classes, made in various types and genres of fine and decorative arts. These are paintings, graphics, sculpture and decorative and applied composition made in various techniques: acrylic, batik, stained glass, shell, floristry, magazine applique, multilayer applique, liquid wallpaper, plasticine and much more. The basis of the exposition is mostly the graduation papers of graduates of 2021. Their graduation projects are a kind of result of the embodiment of all the knowledge and skills that a student has received over the years of studying at school, and their uniqueness lies in the fact that most of the work on them was prepared in a distance format.  Graduates of the school showed in their works a high level of mastery of creative skills and the ability to work independently.

The children's works are made with great love with their characteristic uniqueness of children's perception of the world. The juiciness of colors, the energy of positivity and joy, love for the native land and a look into the future – this is what the viewer can see when looking at the paintings of young artists. They are attracted by the originality of performance, emotional saturation and depth of self-expression.
