(1904, village No. 11 of the present Karabalyk district of the Kostanay region-1992) - a well-known writer, feuilletonist and essayist, Honored Worker of Culture of the Kazakh SSR.He studied at the Russian-Tatar school of the Tatar madrasah in Troitsk, later at the gymnasium, the Orenburg teacher's School, at the courses for the preparation of regional newspaper editors in Moscow, later at the Kostanay Teacher's Institute. For many years he worked in Soviet publishing and law enforcement agencies as a responsible employee. He started his literary activity in the newspaper "Aul" in Kostanay. Since 1928, X. Uzdenbayev constantly works in journalism, later as the editor-in-chief of the translation department of the Telegraph Agency under the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR.
Uzdenbayev works mainly in the field of literary translation. He translated into Kazakh the novels of M. A. Sholokhov "The Raised Virgin Land", "The Quiet Don", I. A. Goncharov "Oblomov" and "Ordinary History", the works of I. Vazov, O. Balzac, P. Merime.
