This year marks the 800th anniversary of the Mamluk Sultan of Egypt, the largest military and statesman of medieval Egypt, Sultan Beybarys. In honor of this event, on June 8, 2023, an employee of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore gave a lecture "Sultan Beybarys" to soldiers of military unit No. 6697 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the lecture, the soldiers learned about the life and military path of an outstanding personality.
