(1904, aul Shubarteniz of Karabalyk district of Kostanay region – 2000) - People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR, laureate of the USSR State Prize, one of the founders, patriarch of the theatrical art of Kazakhstan, actor of the Academic Drama Theater named after M.O.Auezov from the day of its formation. He belongs to the galaxy of artists who started the professional art of theater and cinema in Kazakhstan. He created about 200 stage and 20 screen images. He has written more than 120 articles in newspapers and magazines in which he analyzes the creative path of actors and playwrights, the state and ways of development of the theater. In 1922 he entered the Kazakh Institute of Public Education in Orenburg.
Kapan Uralovich Badyrov belongs to that galaxy of actors who are called nuggets. For the role of Abai, K. U. Badyrov was awarded the title of Stalin Prize laureate in 1952. He played in 20 films, including "Amangeldy", "Brave People" and "Dzhambul".
