Every year on May 18, museum workers from different countries celebrate their professional holiday - International Museum Day. Since 1992, the holiday has been held every year under a certain slogan relating to the peculiarities of museum work. The theme for Night at Museums 2023 is Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing.

On this festive night, the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local History offered its guests a rich program: interesting exhibitions and master classes, creative quests and quizzes, musical and sports performances, and much more.

Among the expositions of the night museum: an excursion with closed eyes “The day always comes after the night!”, the art exhibition “Burabay anyzdary” from the funds of the Akmola Regional Museum of Literature and Art, the subject exhibition “Touch with Hands” from the museum funds, the mini-exotarium “Live Exotics” , exhibitions and sales of products of masters of arts and crafts, "Flower Vernissage", "Honey Shop".

A special place in the interactive project was taken by the entertainment program for children and teenagers "Baby time".
