Significant events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Amangeldy Imanov were held in Kostanay region: the republican scientific and practical conference "National Liberation Uprising of 1916: the unspoken truth" in the A.Baytursynuly KRU, the republican conference "Batyrdyn biik tulgasy" in Amangeldy district. The conferences were attended by state and public figures, famous scientists and local historians, as well as descendants of the batyr.

In addition, the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local History organized an exhibition "Halyk Batyrs", which exhibited dynamic and picturesque paintings on military subjects, the great-great-granddaughter of Amangelda Imanov - Zarina Niyazova. One of her works, the painting "Before the Battle", the young artist donated to the funds of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore.
