On May 4, 2023, the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore hosted the opening of the exhibition «Legends of Burabai» from the funds of the Museum of Literature and Art of the Akmola region. The exhibition featured about forty works by artists of the international forum, which was held in 2019 with the support of the Akim of Akmola region.

The International Forum of Artists «Legends of Burabay» was held within the framework of a series of forums «Qazaqstan. A la prima», organized by Qazaqstan LLP. A la prima», by art critic Dinara Nuger, and was timed to the 115th anniversary of the birth of the People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR, the founder of Kazakh fine art Abylkhan Kasteev.

The exhibition was attended by the head of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region E.B. Kalmakov, representatives of the intelligentsia, Kostanay artists, residents and guests of the city, teachers and university students, media representatives.

The exhibition «Legends of Burabai» will work in the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore for a month.
