On August 5, 2023, the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region and the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore held a republican scientific and practical conference "TUGAN ZHER - TUGYRYM, TUGAN EL - KYDYRIM".

Objectives of the conference: Preservation of historical and cultural heritage and formation of respect for ancestors among the younger generation; Popularization of sacred places of Kazakhstan, including the locality of Orkash, associated with historical figures;

The event was attended by historians, local historians, university professors, specialists of archives and museums. The presentation of the book "Teleu baba" took place within the framework of the event.
