Today, the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local History held a master class for students of the secondary school named afterAbaya "The magic of technology "kurak". Patchwork products of Kazakhs not only decorated everyday life, but also had a certain sacred and symbolic meaning associated with the transfer of harmony, health, well-being necessary for a person in life. The most important symbolic property of the kurak is the bonding of the family, the connection of whole representatives of different families, clans, tribes, etc. into inseparable whole. The patterns as a whole served as a talisman. For the students, the process of making a case from velour fabric was carried out, color, ornament were selected, products were sewn with a manual seam.
