Characteristics for a researcher KSU "Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore" of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay Region Kolbina A.V.

Kolbina Alina Viktorovna has been working in the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore as a researcher since 2007.

Possessing a scientific specialization of a paleoanthropologist, rare for Kazakhstan, A.V. Kolbina conducts significant research work. Collaborates with specialists-archaeologists of A. Baitursynov Russian State University, E.A. Buketov KarSU, A.Kh. Margulan (Almaty). Within the framework of the International project for the study of the DNA of the genome of the ancient population of Kazakhstan, together with Scandinavian scientists from the University of Copenhagen and the Center for Biogenetics (Denmark), she conducted express studies of the anthropological material of the Bronze Age from museum collections. Together with the MacDonald Institute of Archaeological Research and the University of Cambridge (Great Britain), a long-term research project "Revolution - the evolution of the early metallurgy of Eurasia" was implemented.

In collaboration with scientists from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Tyumen, RF), the Scientific and Educational Center for Eurasian Studies of the YurSU (Chelyabinsk, RF), work was carried out on the topics “Anthropology of the population of developed Bronze Age”, “Stone altars of the early Iron Age in the territory of Northern Kazakhstan”, “Nomads Ural-Kazakhstan steppes. A.V. Kolbina took part in the excavations of the Bestamak archaeological complex, a unique group of Halvay sites of the developed Bronze Age. Prepared in electronic form a set of anthropological materials of Kostanay and Akmola regions for the laboratory of physical anthropology of the National Heritage Research Institute (Astana).

Active participation of A.V. Kolbina took part in the construction of an exposition on archeology and history of the visitor center of the Naurzum State Natural Reserve.
