On March 19, 2026, the Fine Arts Department of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore held a folklore and ethnographic event dedicated to the Nauryz holiday, entitled "Baq Bereke Bastauy – A Nauryz." During the event, museum staff provided a detailed account of the traditions and customs of Nauryz celebrations and demonstrated the "Balaqa at Qoyu" and "Besikke Salu" rituals. Taking into account the increased interest in national sports, the "Bes Tas" and "Ogiz Tartys" games were also held. In accordance with the traditions of the hospitable Kazakh people, all guests were offered the main treats of the holiday – nauryz kozhe and baursaks.
