SHIPIN OMAR SHYMBOLATULY

In 1942, the poem "Амангелді батыр" was published.  He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR three times. He was awarded the Orders of Lenin and the Red Banner of Labor. One of the streets of Kostanay is named after the people's akyn Omar Shipin.
