On October 4-6, 2023, the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Mangystau region and the Regional Memorial Museum named after S. Kondybai held a republican symposium of museum workers "Museum and Mythology: problems of interpretation and a new paradigm in research", dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the birth of the famous mythologist, linguist, historian and local historian Serikbol Kondybai, who died prematurely in the world different. The event was attended by the scientific secretary of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore N.K. Otasheva, and made a report "The use of myths and legends in museum work".

And also for the purpose of mutual exchange of experience, N.K.Otasheva visited the Mangystau Regional Museum of Local History named after A.Kekilbayuly and the memorial Museum of S.Kondybai.
