On March 12, 2024, as part of the implementation of the project "Inter-museum interactions of regional museums", the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore held a grand opening of the exhibition "Ulty Ulyktagan Batyr" from the collection of the Amangeldy Memorial Museum named after A. Imanov, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore. The life story of Amangeldy Imanov is closely connected with the history of the Kostanay region. In 1910, in Terisbutak, where the Amangeldy family lived, a school was built on his initiative. Even before the uprising, Amangeldy Imanov was known in the steppe as a champion of people's freedom, an opponent of the colonial regime. The exhibition featured the hero's personal items, household items, weapons of the Sarbazes and paintings. The participants of the event were representatives of the intelligentsia, students of the Abay comprehensive school and students of the Kostanay Industrial and Pedagogical College. This exhibition will be open in the regional history and local history museum from March 12 to March 31, 2025.
