On October 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM, a solo exhibition, "The Art of Portraiture," by Kostanay artist and member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Karelia, Vadim Bykov, opened in the exhibition hall of the Fine Arts Department of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore. Museum visitors will be able to see the artist's work, featuring 70 portraits. Bykov has participated in international, national, regional, and city exhibitions, competitions, and other creative projects, and has held 44 solo exhibitions. His works are held in the collections of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, museums in other cities, and private collections. At his solo exhibition, "The Art of Portraiture," the artist presented portraits of his family and acquaintances, fellow artists, friends, and famous figures. The artist's works are executed in a variety of techniques: oil, drybrush, sauce, sepia, pastel, and pencil. The exhibition "The Art of Portraiture" will run for a month.
