In honor of Father's Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 18, 2026, staff from the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore held a thematic meeting, "Responsible Fatherhood," for students from the school camp of the State Institution "Comprehensive School No. 19 of the Kostanay City Education Department." During the meeting, a discussion took place about the role of fathers in the family and raising children.

The event's guest, Aibek Shalgimbekov, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan at the Akhmet Baitursynuly KRU, shared his views on the importance of responsible fatherhood.

The students also actively participated in the discussion, sharing stories about their fathers. At the end of the meeting, they wrote good wishes and noted their fathers' best qualities on pieces of paper, after which they decorated a symbolic tree, which became a symbol of respect, love, and gratitude for fathers.
