On May 19, 2025, for the 110th anniversary of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, museum readings "Museum History in Archival Documents" were held at the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynuly. The event was attended by the chief specialist of the archival work department of the State Institution "Department of Informatization, Provision of Public Services and Archives of the Akimat of the Kostanay Region" Kadyrmenova Asemgul Kenzhetayevna, deputy dean for educational work of the faculty of social and humanitarian sciences of the KRU named after A. Baitursynuly Zhusupov R.B., a student of the comprehensive school named after A. Birimzhanov Tynymbay Aizhan. During the museum readings, the following issues were discussed: the history of the museum, recorded in archival documents, the socio-cultural status and activities of the regional museum in Soviet times. Museum staff, students and schoolchildren also took part in the event.
