On May 28, 2025, on the eve of the Memorial Day of the Victims of Political Repression (May 31), the scientific secretary of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore Otasheva N.K. took part in the event "Kiyn zhyldardy eske alu", organized by the Dorozhny branch library. She spoke to the cadets of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh.Kabylbayeva gave a lecture on the topic "1920-1950 Zhyldardagi sayasi kugyn-surgin kurbandary Turaly derekteri Museum", using archival documents and photographs from the museum's collections. An employee of the museum told about the innocent people who died as a result of political repression in the Kostanay region.
