On October 14, 2026, the Fine Arts Department of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore opened the exhibition "Uzbekali Zhanibekov's History" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Uzbekali Zhanibekov, a statesman and public figure, ethnographer, and custodian of cultural heritage. The exhibition, from the collection of the Arkalyk Regional Museum of the History of the Steppe Region, showcased 95 unique exhibits. These include personal archival materials and photographs, examples of national clothing, ethnographic objects, as well as museum exhibits held in the Arkalyk Museum and donated by Zhanibekov himself. The event was attended by renowned historians, local historians, representatives of the local intelligentsia, and cultural workers. Special guests included students from the Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University, for whom the ethnographer's legacy holds significant educational value.

The exhibition will run until the end of October.
