On November 20, 2023, in the exposition hall of the Fine Arts Department of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore, the opening of the exhibition of Kostanay artists "Source of Inspiration" was held following the results of the regional art project "Plein Air - 2023". The exposition presents 69 works, these are sketches, landscapes of picturesque places of the district center of the Mendykarinsky district and the village of Kamensk-Uralsky. The unique moments of the state of nature of this protected region are presented to the attention of the audience in the etude works of the plein-air participants.

 The authors of the exhibition: painter Vadim Bykov, sculptor Bayan Batalova, amateur artist Oleg Kuskov, young and aspiring artists Nadezhda Yakovleva and Valentina Almakaeva, as well as teachers of drawing and painting art schools of Kostanay and Lisakovsk, these are Oksana Trenina, Elena and Alina Nikolenko.

The exhibition also presents the works of other Kostanay painters who created their sketches in the open air independently, outside of this project, these are Georgy Sokov, Sergey Lugovoy, Larisa Dmitrieva, Anatoly Shchastyantsev.

 The exhibition "Source of Inspiration" will run for a month.
