“Everything here breathes and lives with colors” is a museum lesson dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the artist Abylkhan Kasteev.
On December 18, 2024, the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore held a museum lesson at the A. Nikiforov Art School, “Everything Breathes and Lives with Colors Here,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Abylkhan Kasteyev, one of the leading masters of painting and graphics in the history of fine art in Kazakhstan. Abylkhan Kasteyev left behind a rich legacy of paintings of various genres, some of which were included in the golden collection of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local History. The students were shown the works of A. Kasteev, which are stored in the museum. Each of his works is an inspired story about his native land and its people, they reflect all the significant historical events that took place in the republic in the 20th century. The artist with great warmth and sincerity sought to show the new things that were happening before his eyes in the life of the people. The works presented in the lesson, landscapes, paintings and watercolors, reflect the renewed beauty of the Kazakh land, the life of a person, his work, his activity can be seen in the image of plowed lands, modern buildings.
