Results of the VI Republican competition-exhibition of young authors of fine and decorative arts “Zhas Tolkyn – 2024”
In order to support the creativity of young artists and modern fine arts of Kazakhstan, from September 1 to November 8, 2024, on the initiative of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of the Kostanay region and the Kostanay regional organization of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the basis of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, the VI Republican Competition of Young Authors of Fine and Decorative Arts was held - applied arts “Zhas Tolkyn – 2024”. Following the results of the competition, the exposition displays an exhibition where the award ceremony for the competition participants took place.
This year, more than 100 applications were accepted to participate in the “Zhas Tolkyn - 2024” competition. The participants are represented by young authors from the Kostanay region, as well as from different regions of Kazakhstan: Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Uralsk, Ural, West Kazakhstan, East -Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan regions. Competitive works were judged in four categories: painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative and applied arts. In each nomination, three prizes with cash certificates were determined. In summing up the results and determining the winners in the “Sculpture” category, the jury did not award prizes. According to the regulations of the competition, while maintaining the prize fund, the jury selected three additional prizes in the “Painting” nomination. The jury also determined the Grand Prix winner.
The results of the VI Republican competition “Zhas Tolkyn – 2024” were announced at the grand opening of the exhibition.

3rd place – Magzumov Damir, Kokshetau
3rd place – Anna Zaporozhskikh, Kostanay

1st place – Alpusova Dana, Almaty
2nd place – Leila Makaeva, Lisakovsk
3rd place – Lesaly Aidana, Almaty
In the category "Decorative and Applied Arts"
1st place - Diana Utepova, Kostanay
2nd place - Abduakhitova Zhanar, Kostanay region, Amangeldinsky district
3rd place – Izdybaeva Adela, Arkalyk
